Cups – vacuum therapy

Deep-tissue Holistics

Suction cups give exceptional results in the treatment of the locomotor system in the form of painful stiff back, pain between the shoulder blades, pain in the lumbar part of the back (sciatica), as well as cosmetic purposes in the fight against cellulite. In combination with massage, they give even more effective results! This procedure works by placing suction cups (vacuum cups) on the client’s body, which is first smeared with a contact medium in the form of oil, cream or gel. The use of this procedure since ancient times indicates that this procedure effectively opens the pores, widens the blood vessels, bloods the treated area, breaks the stagnation in the circulation and expels the toxins. After the therapy, dark marks remain on the places where there were vacuums, which disappear after a few days. There are two ways of therapy, in the form of static placement of suction cups or the entire vacuum massage. The therapy is painless, and the person has a subjective feeling of skin tightness, considering that it really tightens and thus regenerates.

What is it?

Cupping treatment is an ancient type of holistic therapies in which a therapist applies suction to your skin at the exact trigger point by using specific cups for a few minutes. It is used for a variety of reasons, including pain relief, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a sort of deep-tissue massage.

How does it work?

Suction from cupping draws fluid into the treated area. This suction force expands and breaks open tiny blood vessels (capillaries) under the skin. Your body treats the cupping area like an injury. It sends more blood to the area to stimulate the natural healing process.

What does it target?

It has been claimed that cupping therapy tends to drain excess fluids and toxins, loosen adhesions and revitalize connective tissue, increase blood flow to skin and muscles, stimulate the peripheral nervous system, reduce pain, controls high blood pressure and modulates the immune system.
